Spring is here! (sort of)
It's so lovely outside at the moment! Crisp air...Doris has paid us a visit....sun blinding me as I drive up the hill in the morning and so I carry on driving in the hope that there is no one in front of me....and apparently Eric is stopping by this weekend...hope he doesn't mess my bins about too...
But, it LOOKS lovely outside! And that's always my inspiration as I sit at my day job and look out the window. The transition between seasons is so beautiful to watch, and the colours always fascinate me. I also seem to get inspiration as I'm falling asleep...which isn't as helpful as then I'm wide awake hunting for a note pad or crochet hook, much to the annoyance of my boyfriend.
This week I've been getting ready for the Arts and Crafts Market in Berkhamsted where I will be back again with my Yarn Boutique and promoting workshops & retreats. I always like to have something made for people to buy if they want This month I've made some flower magnets using my daisy design, and upgraded it to a sunflower design too. I'm thinking I might make up some little kits for these, they are made using paper twine and I'm really loving the end result!
I also have an announcement to make...I've been waiting because mainly I'm terrified but hey ho here we go....I'm going to be at Kirsty Allsopp's The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace in September.......AAAAAAHHHHHHH. I'll be there promoting my crochet retreats, terrified that Kirsty may look at my display and say it's rubbish...probably crying slightly...so come say hi!
