He-arty Farty Heart Pattern

Ta-Dahhhh, here is my He-arty Farty blob heart pattern :-)

The girls that came along to the Valentines spesh loved making them, and as complete beginners they did a fab job too!

I've done a little video tutorial too...be kind, it's my first.

He-arty Farty Heart Garland

Use any yarn/hook size to suit your style.

I’ve used “Just Yarn Chunky Wool Blend” in Camel, Red and White and a 6mm hook.

Make a slip knot.

Chain 2.

Make 6 double crochet into the first chain.

Join by making 2 double crochet into first stitch.

Make 2 half-treble crochet into the next stitch.

Make 1 treble crochet into the next stitch, chain 3 and the slip stitch into the same stitch

Slip stitch into the very centre of the work, where we made the 6 double crochet.

Slip stitch into the next stitch, skipping the stitch about the slip stitch we have just made.

Chain 3 and then treble crochet into the same stitch.

Make 2 half-treble crochet into the next stitch.

Make 2 double crochet into the next stitch.

Make 1 double crochet into the next stitch.

Slip stitch into the next stitch and fasten off.

Weave in ends.

Make as many hearts as you would like for your garland. Cut a length of twine and tie a knot in it, leaving a long end for tying it up. Thread you first heart on up to the knot and tie another knot after it. Leave a gap and then tie another knot, thread on the next heart etc
